New Hampshire
I find I’m unable to write much about the images I post here and I’m somewhat embarrassed about that. Dan always (and I mean always!) writes about his images, and does so in such a wonderful manner. He has a way with words.
Hm. Perhaps I need to hire him.

New Hampshire
At some point I will manage to get to all the photos I took while on our New England trip, but it sure does take time. When I open up the folder my intention is to look at everything and weed out the images that are utterly horrible (yes, I have a lot of those). I start going through them, though, and get distracted by one image and start working on it rather than continue the task I meant to do.
I’m finding images that bring back such wonderful memories of our first, and I hope not the last, visit. I took a few photos from this same spot, just zeroing in on different things. This is the first photo I made.

Stellar Boxes!
For the Stellar Gallery show I decided I would make a couple of boxed card sets. There are more images at the show*, and those not featured in a box will be printed as individual cards, but I arranged these in such a way that I think there is a continuity I prefer to have with my sets.
Now that the show has opened, I can share these images here (I wanted to keep things a bit of a surprise until it opened.) and make them available to those who can’t make it to the gallery.
*Update: well, one image is NOT at the show after all, and some of these aren’t on the walls quite yet (I brought more images than we could hang). The one not in the show is the purple viola with the water drop: the frame was damaged! It is now redone and sitting here, but I can’t quite imagine making a 6 hour round-trip to deliver it to the gallery at the moment. Ah well! Maybe I’ll eventually end up shipping it there.

Goodnight Flower
I have to confess that sometimes I’m running on empty when it comes to my goodnight flowers. It’s not as if I don’t have a folder FULL of images I could post, but it’s just that sometimes nothing speaks to me at the moment. In addition, it gets tricky: I feel the pressure of showing something completely new and unusual, but I don’t always have something new and unusual! So I hesitate posting at all … but how can I possibly not post a goodnight flower? My day would be, I fear, incomplete. And so I continue to post, and on occasion I’m not altogether thrilled with the flower(s) I post, but I’m at least satisfied, knowing that I’ve not skipped a day for at least 2617 days and possibly more, since I’m not certain that I always named the evening post a “Goodnight Flower” when I began this floral journey.
And there you have it. My excuse for posting yet another image of some Osteospermum! (And yes, they really were this amazing color.)
