I’m an oboist and English hornist, and have been in the music profession for more years than I care to admit. I love my work, and it brings me great joy.
So does walking. I’m an avid walker, and I’m most happy when I’m off on a little neighborhood trek. When I walk I nearly always take my camera with me, and I am especially likely to use the macro and see what I can see — and show you — when I get up close and personal to plant life.
I’ve been in a juried exhibit, receiving an honorable mention for one work, and have shown work at Top Nosh Cafe in San Jose, California.
I am happy to provide you with prints or cards of photos you see on this website, on Facebook , Instagram, or Flickr. Please email me for information.
My other site is oboeinsight, obviously referring to my profession.
Wow! I think is not easy to be an oboist or English hornist, right?

It mightn’t be “easy” but it’s quite rewarding!

Good Morning Patricia, would you mind if I ask if you use a dedicated macro lens like Canon 100mm/f2.8 or extension tubes. I am working on saving for the above lens however now I use Vello brand extension tubes Just curious, hope you don’t mind me asking.

Hi Patricia, sorry to jump in here, but unsure where else to pose this question. What do you use for your watermark process?

So nice meeting you when we were both out on our walks this morning, Patricia! I look forward to looking closer and following your work. Maybe we’ll meander together one of these days!
