Bringing in the new year was lovely. No one had a clue what would be coming to us as friends toasted with champagne and wished each other a wonderful 2020.

Three Birds
Good morning, world!
This is from yesterday’s quick loop with the birds. I know the one in the water is an avocet (American avocet, I’m guessing), but I don’t know about the two flying. Anyone?
Morning On The Pond, New Year’s Day, 2015
Okay … guess I should post something a little less goofy from yesterday’s trek. I debate about cropping … there is, after all, a whole lot of water that might not be necessary. But … well … not going there yet. There is something about the expanse of the water there that does appeal to my eye. Of course if I crop it you would be able to see the two avocets more easily. So there’s that.
I suppose I’ll have to ponder for a while!
