On my walk today I ran across lilies I’d never seen. I stopped to shoot them and the homeowner saw me and chatted a bit. She said they were “Brazilian lilies” which I’ve now found isn’t correct. They are, instead, called Peruvian daffodils or basketflower. In any case, it was totally new to me!
This is primarily a record shot: I will have to return someday and figure out just how I can capture this in an artistic way. I think the macro lens is not the answer.
