I suspect the desert plants will be posted for a while … I do have a number of them. This is some sort of primrose, but I’m not certain which one (There are five listed in my desert wildflower book).

I’m not sure what this is … perhaps a brittlebush, but I can’t say (or write) for certain. It’s from out latest desert visit and was found in a canyon there, but it was in other areas as well.

It’s a “twofer” night. I’m pretty sure I know the reason for the common name, Desert Pricklepoppy!
