Busy Bees
I have a lot of work this week and next: teaching in the oboe studio, Lord Of The Rings performances (the full films with live orchestra!), and Magic Flute rehearsals. Busy is good, but busy is also challenging. I still attempt to get at least two mile walks in. I need those!
I might be busy, but not quite as busy as these bees. At least I don’t think so. (Photo made a year ago yesterday.)
Then again, they don’t know how to play an oboe!

Goodnight Flower
I’m just home from a trip to SoCal, where I was visiting some of our kids. It wasn’t a photo trip, really, but of course I did make a few (hah!) shots now and again. This is from The Getty Center garden. To me it appeared as if the poppy was applauding.
