Have a Bit of Green

I remember exactly where this plant is growing, even while this particular image is from 2016. I could easily walk right back and find it again. I’ve done so a few times, in fact. It just really caught my eye, it’s so interesting. I sent a larger image off to a plant ID group. I’m hoping to have a name soon and I’ll post that here when I learn what this is. Meanwhile … enjoy!

Another Day, Another Agave

As I wrote, the colors can vary greatly with the same plant, depending upon the light. Here’s another agave shot from the very same day, only minutes apart from the other I posted yesterday. (So what would you do if you were the photographer? Adjust all photos so the colors match? Accept that light changes the colors and leave them? Thoughts?)

Good Friday Morning!

I’m looking back at 2015 work at the moment. LOTS of junk there. But some I rather like. This succulent is an interesting one. The colors differ vastly, depending upon the light I had when shooting. Some look tremendously blue, while others have more yellow in them. I’m never sure how I should process them: stick to the “camera color”? Adjust so they all look the same? Dunno!

For now this is what I’ll do with this one. Subject to change, of course. But this is “camera color”. The very next shots are SO very blue. I might post one later ….
