Goodnight Flower
You will see a similarity between this and last night’s flower. Yes, they are one and the same. I’m just not sure which image I prefer! I realize they are pretty darn similar, but the differences made it tough for me to choose just one. Maybe I’ll let readers help me with this. Which would you choose?

A Tuesday Trek
Dan and I took a little trip to Point Lobos today. It was quite lovely, albeit a bit windy for flowers. Here is one of the first images I made.

Goodnight Flower
This is another from today’s walk. I go past a very cool house on occasion and have never thought to look it up. Turns out it’s an historical home (you can read about it here). I had no idea! It’s now used for the Farrington Historical Foundation and the Junior League of San Jose.

A Butterfly
I see so few butterflies these days. When I was a child it seemed they were everywhere. If and when we ever manage to get plants into our own yard (yes, it’s pathetic to think that our yard is a mess with very few flowers!) I hope to plant some plants that bees and butterflies love. This swallowtail appeared on my walk today and while I couldn’t get terribly close, I was happy to get an image at all, as he/she really didn’t want to pose!
