From Today’s Walk
I had a nice 6+ mile walk today, and did a wee bit of flower shooting. The anemones are definitely blooming around here! This particular one, along with the one behind it, had fallen over and while I’m sure it was not going to last long, I found it quite lovely in this position. It looked quite at peace with its fate.

August 2017
I’m getting close to finishing up with my August 2017 images. I have a lot from our pack trip, many of which I don’t really care for but that I will still hang on to: for that sort of thing it’s about the memories and some photos, while not strong images, bring back some mighty fine recollections of a lovely trip.
I’ll post a few here, though, just to show others the beauty we saw, even if the photos wouldn’t print well enough for me to bother with.

Goodnight Flower
I wanted to do an “all of it” (or at least nearly all) photo before posting the others, so while this isn’t a favorite of the bunch I will say goodnight with it. I spotted this in a familiar location and thought to try again with this Peruvian squill (a misnomer, to be sure, as it is not from Peru!), as I wasn’t happy with my last attempts.
