Is anyone now checking this site because I am not currently on Facebook? Did even ONE person move to this site? I’m guessing no, but maybe someone will surprise me.
If you do, leave a message and I’ll send you a flower card. Really.
PS If you leave a comment it won’t appear until I approve it, so don’t worry if you don’t see it right away!
PS #2 If you want a card you do need to send me your address! π
I receive your daily emails. This one said: β Is anyone now checking this site because I am not currently on Facebook? Did even ONE person move to this site? I’m guessing no, but maybe someone will surprise me. If you do, leave a message and I’ll send you a flower card. Really.β
I tried to use the comment section but it would not let me comment. Maybe I did something wrong, probably did but thought I would let you know. I enjoy your photography so much

Your message is here, Rosemarie: I just have to approve all messages before they are posted!
So send me your address and a card will come your way! You can email me if you are more comfortable with that, but if you post it here I just won’t approve that message so it won’t show up publicly. Email: patty at patriciaemersonmitchell dot com

Hi Patricia,
It has been a busy couple of weeks. I mostly check your site daily when the WP reader is working. We had to go visit our newest granddaughter finally this week. It took a while to get there. One thing and another delayed our visit but we finally made it.

Hi Patricia. I see your exquisite flower photos daily when they appear in my WordPress Reader. I, too, am not on Facebook. O think page views depend on a couple of things: the tags/categories used and time of day when posted. I am not sure of your timezone. I’m in U.S. East Coast time and find that my own stats show the most popular time for my own posts is between 9am ET and 3pm ET. Ppsts of my own that go up after 10pm ET have less traffic than those posted after 6am ET. I’m not sure if that would be applicable to your gorgeous flowers though? Best, Babsje

Yep, I do know about the time of day thing. Mostly what I was wondering in this particular post was if ANY of my Facebook friends would visit the page if I disappeared for a time from Facebook. In the past, when I had to go away for a bit and then came back, some would say, “we really missed seeing your Goodnight Flower” (since that’s when I used to post) and I’d explain that the flowers are ALWAYS at my site. But FB people seem to refuse to move over to a blog.
As my husband has said, “Facebook killing the blogs.”

I hear you about FB undermining blogs! People have such short attention spans and move to whatever is the new and shiny thing – Instagram’, tiktok. I can’t keep up with them all. I also love your theme of Goodnight Flowers – that’s unique and a really sweet theme to use. Best, Babsje

Thanks! I did change the theme to Daily Flora, but I just might move back to Goodnight Flowers … I sort of miss it.
