A Wonderful Garden
I’ve known about Nola’s Iris Garden for a while now, but today was my first visit. I can guarantee I’ll be back. The number of iris are overwhelming and the beauty is simply amazing. I made so a many images I can’t even guess how long it will take me to get through them all yet I didn’t manage to see and enjoy every variety. I’m going to guess that is nearly impossible! When I could figure out what the name was I would shoot the variety sign, but sometimes I couldn’t tell which iris belonged to which sign. The one below, though, is named correctly … I’m not pretending … promise!

A Nice Meeting
I am home from a quick walk downtown. While there I took a quick look at Bellano, the coffee shop that has replaced Top Nosh. (Sadly they had just closed, so no latté for me.) On the way out I ran into a lovely couple and chatted a bit … crazy me, I neglected to get their names. They did get this website URL, though, so I hope they see this so I can publicly say, “SO sorry!” along with, “Hope to see you again at Bellano’s!” and, “If you drop me a line here I’d love to hear from you.”
One thing they asked was if I had a link to my husband’s site. For some reason that hadn’t occurred to me before. (Again, crazy me!) So if you are interested in seeing Dan’s work, the G Dan Mitchell site is now linked here, and I’ll put him in the side column as well.
Meanwhile … have some green from a few years back.

Colorful Tables & Chairs
I walked to downtown San Jose today, because they are setting up things for the Superbowl crowds. At this point it’s not finished but I found some fun colors and quickly shot a few things. For now I’ll post my “First Shot” which is, as usual, not my best. But it is the first!
