Back in the 70s we grew coleus. They were quite popular as houseplants. Now I sometimes see them growing outside. The colors frequently astound me.
A year ago today was the last day I gave oboe lessons in person. I had three students here in my house. We had no masks yet, but all my students were used to going first to wash their hands: I’d been having them do that for years.

I finally took a camera on my walk today. I barely did any camera work, but I was glad to see some lovely leaf color. Here’s one of the few shots I made.
