I finally took a camera on my walk today. I barely did any camera work, but I was glad to see some lovely leaf color. Here’s one of the few shots I made.
Wishing everyone a safe day, but not one of isolation, even as we continue to hunker down in our homes. Today I am thankful for the ability to communicate in the ways we couldn’t imagine some years back. It is lovely to see my family’s faces as we chat. It’s wonderful to see my students and get to hear them play. And if any friends out there need a little meet up just say the word.
And now please enjoy this image of some interesting leaves. I’ve no idea what this plant is, but the contrast between the dark, larger leaves, and the bright yellow ones caught my eye.
I found these leaves to be so very lovely. I spotted the tree on a walk and while it was a bit breezy I managed to get this. I had nearly forgotten about the image when I started looking back at October shots.

Green is on my mind at the moment. That’s what playing the musical Wicked can do to a person, I guess! So here … have some green: Canna Leaves (I), 6.24.19
