Some images are merely record shots and this will probably be put in that category. Still, it’s a dogwood, and I love those, plus it’s a plant very near our house. So many people have taken out their dogwoods, but these people put in two lovely trees, one of which is in full bloom.

Looking Back
I’ll continue with this Looking Back series, since I currently am unable to look forward to an aspen trip this year. (But next year I am determined to go on one.)

First Shot
I didn’t manage a long walk today, but the first thing that caused me to pull out my camera were these dogwood blossoms. I was so happy to see a house nearby that was recently remodeled and landscaped now has three dogwood trees. They are really amazing!

What Do You See?
This is a stretch for many, I’m sure …
What Do You See?
One more … and this is a stretch, I’m sure.

What Do You See?
I’m going to start a series on “What do you see?” because … well … what DO you see? Sometimes I see animals in rocks and trees … how about you?
The upcoming images are all from the Sierra Nevada pack trip.

Wind & Photography
I went for a walk today and while it was quite lovely it was also somewhat breezy. That didn’t stop me from shooting the flowers, and I just might get a few workable shots, but if all else fails, trees are much better behaved in the wind!
