First Shot
The last time I used my camera, aside from iPhone shots, was January 4. That’s the longest I’ve gone without doing one thing with a camera for a very long time! First it was due to a bad foot. Then it was a bad cold. Now I have a bad knee but I was not going to allow that to stop me getting out for at least a short walk. I didn’t do much, but there’s always a first shot.
I can’t imagine doing anything big with this image, but I’m delighted that I got out, and this was a lovely plant. And of course a first shot is a first shot! I do hope I’ve identified it correctly.

Two Saturday Succulents
As I sit around, unable to do much of anything due to a cough, I can at least post these lovelies.

The Wonder of Succulents
I find succulents the most fascinating things. They have such variety, and can be so stunning. I think this might be Sempervivum Black Mini, but I’m not certain of that.

Happy Saturday
Saturday is, for me, a teaching day, but I know for some it’s the start of a weekend. Because Monday is the 24th perhaps for many it’s the start of a bit of a holiday too. So Happy Saturday … or Happy Whatever! Have some green.

Good Morning World
… and happy weekend to me! (Well, it actually began at about 3:30 PM yesterday, so I have a 48 hour weekend this time. Nice!)
Here is another “bird” photo … of a succulent and, like the other, is from the Rosicrucian Park labyrinth.
