Remembering
Last year we headed to Death Valley at the end of March. This year I don’t get to go, and I’m rather sad about that, so I’m going through photos from last year. It’s surprising to see things I’d forgotten about … and it does make me even sadder that I can’t get there this year. But such is life: I have students to teach and concerts to play and sometimes I just can’t take the trips I’d like to take.

Tulips can be tricky to shoot. Getting the all of it shot isn’t always my favorite thing to do. Sometimes, though, I really feel the need to “shoot down” so you can see all those fantastic colors and shapes.
