Red & Pink

Putting red with pink doesn’t often work for me. This red … well … it seemed as if it was trying to have a fight with the pink tulip. I think it was winning the battle.

I must confess I’m still debating as to whether I’ll keep this image or not. But I did find the color war a bit interesting, and thought others might as well. I’d not seen something quite like this before.

First Shot

Today didn’t include much walking or photography. It did include two children’s concerts, some driving, a tiny amount of much needed rain and, later, some wind.

This shot was made in that wind. Fortunately one doesn’t need stillness to make something colorful. The fragrance of these lovely little things was wonderful!

Goodnight Flower

Someone near me will soon be visiting Death Valley. I don’t have the time this year (and I’ve been assured that the flowers won’t be like they were last year), so I am revisiting last year’s work. I have so many photos, and it seems I’ve barely touched them since then. So here’s a goodnight flower from a little less than a year ago but a whole lot of miles away.
