There is an iris patch nearby that I visit every year. The first time I was there the homeowner came out and told me he brought this particular kind from somewhere in the south. I want to say Georgia, but I might be wrong about that. In any case, he implied you couldn’t get them here. I have no idea if that’s true, but these plants are pretty amazing. They nearly glow … or at least appear fluorescent. (Or perhaps those two works are synonymous!) This is merely my first shot of the day. I’m guessing I might have some better shots later!
