These tiny little flowers had me crouching down on the sidewalk this morning. Sometimes I think the home owners think a crazy lady must be outside their house! Several times now someone has come out to ask if I’m okay, and a few other times the homeowner has come out to ask what I was doing, clearly concerned that I was checking out their house. Only once has a person told me I wasn’t allowed to take pictures, though. I’m always on the sidewalk, so legally she was wrong, but I left since there are plenty of other houses with flowers I can shoot.
Rarely have I written about the things I post here, and I think I’ll start writing a wee bit on occasion, explaining what caused me to stop or filling readers in on the photo’s story.
In this case, the colors of these little gems were too enticing to leave alone, and the cloud cover and lack of breeze meant it was a perfect time to stop. They are quite low to the ground, so I really was nearly hugging the concrete!
