Goodnight Flower

I have a great number of desert photos to go through and it’ll take me a good long time. This one, though, was something I wanted to post sooner rather than later, as it was new to me. I believe I’ve identified it correctly, but I’ll always open to being told I’m wrong!* We located it growing on the wall of one of the many canyons one finds in the desert.
*I’m now thinking this might be Hairy Milkweed instead (Sarcostemma hirtellum). Anyone?

Goodnight Flower

We are just home from a trip to Death Valley, where I found a good number of flowers. I was hoping to post one tonight, but my computer is not allowing me to download any photos at the moment. It is, in fact, not working well in a number of ways … so much so that I might have to take a leave for a time until I figure out what is wrong. For now I have a few days of “backup photos” I can post for goodnight flowers.
