Ever consider doing a name that flower contest ? Just kidding. Though it is interesting to see the various forms different flowers take in their structure. The curling divisions of the pistil would be considered a growth failure in the universe of daylilies. It would render the plant sterile. Probably not the case for your flower. It does make me wonder what the pollinator is for this flower. And that leads to a whole nother topic of discussion. Pretty flower !
There are other flowers who have this split pistil — Cichorium intybus for instance. I find the macro image of flowers to be so fascinating. I had no idea about their intricacies until I started shooting them.
