Aloe Flowers, 3.4.15
Good morning world! I made this photo yesterday. I was thinking it was aloe buds of some sort, but I’m not finding images that look like it when I search on aloe. Anyone out there know? And yes … there are aphids in this. I didn’t even notice them when I was shooting. Silly me!

I had a nice 7 1/4 mile walk today. I was a wee bit sluggish, but after three days of not much walking I sort of expected that. Mostly I just wish I had to write, “No walk due to rain.” That would be a wonderful thing. Sigh.
No first shot: I’m just not sure I’m willing to share that failure, but here’s my fourth shot:

I had a lovely seven mile walk today. I’m sorry to write it was lovely, really, since I should be writing “I couldn’t walk because it was pouring,” or some such thing. I do hope I get to write that at least once this year. I certainly pray that I can write it a whole lot more than once.
But of course since I could go out I did, and I took the camera, as I always do.
A first shot is a first shot: sometimes it turns out to be printable, and sometimes not. I still like to post them no matter, though, just to give readers an idea of how I start out.
First Shot: Succulent, 1.26.15
I took a walk today with the Fujifilm X-E1. I wanted to go back to the “succulent spot” and see what the smaller camera could do with it (the last time I only shot it with the iPhone), and I also wanted to have room in my bag for the can of corn I needed to purchase on my way home. (I love that I can walk to the grocery store.) Here is shot #1.
