Goodnight Flower

This is from today’s walk. The house it sits in front of looks to be falling apart, poorly cared for, and has a no trespassing sign on it, making it look like a very unwelcome place.
The flower, however, was lovely and had a “choose me” look to it. So I did.

Even while I doubt I have anything print-worthy from yesterday, I realized that there are shots that I like because they remind me of what we saw. They remind me, too, of what I good time I had with everyone.
Of course it’s possible I may find I do have things I can print: I start out not liking anything and after a while my eyes start to see the possibilities. Here’s hoping!

Let the holiday begin! I now have no students until this Saturday. (Not that I don’t love teaching: “my” kids bring me great joy!) Time to start cleaning and cooking. Well … tomorrow ….
In all honesty, I’d rather be walking where these can be found. Anyone recognize them? (Shot in the evening, as we were walking there, a little less than a year ago.)
I’ll identify them later, if no one comments about them before that.
