While we were in Mendocino in July we visited the fantastic Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Sadly not as much was in bloom then. The begonias hadn’t even begun to bloom, the dahlias were blooming but certainly not in full bloom yet, and the rhododendrons had mostly bloomed already and were past their prime. There were a few “rhodies” that hadn’t yet opened, though.
