Sunset Celebration Rose (II), 4.23.18

the way I see the world
Sometimes I notice bugs when I’m shooting. Sometimes I only see them when I see the image on my computer screen. No clue where this one falls … it was too long ago to recall. But here … have this teeny little guy. (And yes, I could have removed him. But I didn’t. I do have another image of this rose without Mr. Bug. )

Color can change so much, just because of light. Same plant, different light. Different color. Odds are I used a shade for the second image, but I can’t remember back that far. It’s just a guess.
For me the first image is mostly about the light and color, while the second is primarily about that tiny web strand. But you might think differently. You tell me!
I’m a flower?
Okay, maybe I’m the only one who sees it this way. I wonder! But this image reminds me of my Humanities class when I was in college. I would sit there, elbow on the table, chin on my fist. My professor called me the “The Thinker” at one point. Truth be told I really wasn’t thinking all that much. I’m going to guess only thought I might have had, if there was even that one, was, “Please please please don’t call on me!” (I was extremely scared to speak in class.)
