Thank you, Susan! This was at Filoli, and I was so glad to see what they had to offer at this point. The Echinacea were absolutely amazing, and I really want to get right back to do more work with them, as I’m not completely satisfied with what I have. I wouldn’t mind doing more with the Clematis as well. The roses aren’t quite ready for the camera yet, but the Dahlias were looking good. For some reason my camera skills were less than stellar yesterday. Maybe I’ll even go back tomorrow. Time will tell!
I saw that post … sorry your painting didn’t get looked at. (I have a few things here I’d love to have examined: they could be quite valuable, but they could also, I know, be fakes!) Filoli is a spot I call my “happy place”.

I love Filoli! I was there last week for Antiques Roadshow, but didn’t have my camera and didn’t really have time to walk around.
