Looking Further Back

I’m so easily distracted. I should be cleaning … but I was looking back at images from the Sierra Nevada … even as far back as 2003. Oh how young Dan and I look! I won’t post any of those here: I was using a camera that was less than stellar, and while it’s fun to look at younger me, it’s not fun to see the low quality images. (If you wonder, that first camera was some sort of Olympus and if it was more than 3 megapixels I’d be surprised.)

Moving forward, I finally progress to decent cameras. Not that that meant I would always get great images, but at least they wouldn’t be pixilated.

Someone I know and love gets to go to Yosemite this weekend. Someone else does not, so she is making herself feel worse by looking over photos from trips in the past. But so it goes. The life of a musician includes a lot of weekends where other people go off on trips and the musician stays home to work. It’s just the way the job works!
