Red Hat, Brussels, 6.5.25

I hesitate posting photos that include a child, but in this instance I’m going to go ahead with it. Because it just makes me smile and I find it all very sweet. If someone thinks I’m wrong in doing so please feel free to tell me: I might take it down, I might not. We shall see. Truth is, I could disappear the young one quite easily what with all the tools now in Lightroom, but the way she is standing and the way the other “red hat girl” is standing just sort of make this image for me. I also have another where you can see the face of “red hat girl” but I actually prefer this one.

Looking Back

This is certainly not an image I would print, but that doesn’t mean I won’t share it! This was from a very special evening in Florence, when Dan and I walked up to the Piazzale Michelangelo. I had no idea what it would be like, and this crowd was something else! Shortly after this photo, a man who was singing behind all of us managed to get everyone’s attention and soon many turned around, so of us standing, facing him, and singing along. What a fun memory!

New York

I’m not seeing a lot in my very limited collection of images from last week’s trip that I believe will be worth my time, but I’ll give a few a go and perhaps I’ll see more as they “age”. I sort of think I like this one, though.
