First Shot
I took a shorter walk today — something under six miles, but better than nothing! I didn’t do much with the camera that is worth sharing, but of course I do sometimes share first shots even if they aren’t stellar. I was glad to find some milkweed in bloom. I love these little flowers!

They Aren’t Always Red
It was once suggested that I alter the color of a ladybug because it didn’t look bright red. I understood, and it would have been a prettier shot with a red ladybug but some ladybugs are different colors. Maybe they aren’t ladies. Maybe they like to take risks. Maybe they are San Francisco Giants fans. Who knows?
