There is a tree nearby that is a most amazing blazing color. The homeowner told me what she thought the tree was last year, and if I’m remembering correctly it’s an Autumn Blaze Maple. The name certainly fits.

They are the most amazing colors, Annette! I was happy to remember to walk down that same street again this year so I could revisit them with a good camera. (Last year I only had my iPhone with me … it caught the colors, but didn’t really produce an image I could ever print.)
