After a fun Symphony Silicon Valley concert I hopped in my car and Adams’ Harmonielehre was on. I love that work, and it was nice to drive home to, although of course I live too close so I arrived home before it finished. Guess I know what I’ll want to listen to when I have the time. π
One more concert tomorrow and we say goodbye to Ravel and Gershwin for now. Having Jon Nakamatsu back is always a tremendous joy. I’m completely astounded that he plays both of the Gershwin works in one concert, sounding amazing as always, and doesn’t appear wiped out at the end. Wow!
Meanwhile, it’s time for a goodnight flower, don’t you think? Since I’m still looking at older Yosemite shots, here’s one from that area that I’m only now working on.
