Pale Pink Camellia, 1.8.15
This beautiful flower was seen right around the corner from my house. At the time there were only a few blooms on the plant, but I plan on passing by again tomorrow, as I suspect there will be more now. It’s a gorgeous shrub.
… but isn’t “shrub” a bizarre sounding word?
I took a walk today with the Fujifilm X-E1. I wanted to go back to the “succulent spot” and see what the smaller camera could do with it (the last time I only shot it with the iPhone), and I also wanted to have room in my bag for the can of corn I needed to purchase on my way home. (I love that I can walk to the grocery store.) Here is shot #1.
First Shot: Succulents, Rock and Leaves, 1.21.15
When we were visiting the birds it was rather foggy. We stopped to see these little guys, who were visible, but only a bit, due to both the brush and the fog. This is my first shot, when I was still getting my head in gear for the fun day. As is typical with me, it’s doubtful it could be a printable shot, but it is the first shot. No doubt there. It was morning, so I’m sharing it as my good morning shot.
