A little something extra today: I entered three photos in the Sierra Art Trails juried exhibition titled “The Figure Revealed”. My three prints are of flora that, to my eye, have a bit of a “human side”.
All three were accepted!
I am so thrilled, honored and excited about this. Now I need to get these prints framed and shipped off. The schedule is a tight one. Sadly I can’t be there on February 7, when the exhibit opens, due to opening night of Opera San José‘s “Where Angels Fear to Tread” (I can’t just skip out on that!) but I will be able to make it to the gala reception on the 14th, which is fairly surprising considering my crazy schedule.
In any case, I’m still reeling: this is the first time I’ve done something like this.
Meanwhile, of course, it’s time for my goodnight flower. Here’s another camellia, this time from nearly one year ago.
