From Today’s Walk

I had a short walk this morning and a favorite poppy patch was blooming.

I’m no longer sure I’m identifying poppies correctly. I know this is a Papaver, but while I have assumed it was a somniferum, now I’m reading that it might be a rhoeas. Anyone?
