Lupine in the Grass, 4.15.19
This is another image from our 2017 pack trip. I really like it, but because I (typical me!) didn’t use the tripod it isn’t one I could print very large. Still, I think Dan will enjoy it.
Reminder to self: the tripod, while cumbersome, is worth using.
After an exhausting week of Aladdin rehearsals and shows, today is a day off. Thankfully Dan suggested we go on a little outing to a nearby county park and I’m so glad he did. I loved the fresh air, and I definitely needed the walk.
Here is my first shot of the day. I know this is lupine, and I”m guessing it might be Lupinus bicolor, but I’m not great at narrowing things down sometimes. No matter what, the field of them was lovely.

This is only an iPhone photo, and it won’t print large, which is what I’d love to see.
Yet another lesson learned: don’t choose to use the iPhone simply because you are too lazy to change lenses on the camera(s) that will allow for larger prints!
Still I do believe this will make a lovely card.
This is from our pack trip, and was my favorite meadow. It was evening and the sun was quickly leaving us.
